Specializing in French Creole cuisine including chef favorites like Louisiana Catfish, Bayou Crabcakes and Voodoo Tomatoes, Touché French Creole recently opened in downtown Aurora (6 N. River St., 331 300-2173).

Touché French Creole, which brings soulful New Orleans–inspired cuisine to the heart of downtown Aurora, is now open.  Located at 6 N. River St., the restaurant is now welcoming guests for dinner service, offering bold, flavorful dishes and curated cocktails in a vibrant, modern setting.

Those who have visited New Orleans or have a hankering for southern flavors may find what they are looking for at a new restaurant in downtown Aurora. The JH Hospitality Group launched Touche French Creole in April at 6 N. River St., one of a trio of restaurants it has opened in the historic Hobbs Building.

Downtown Aurora welcomed another new restaurant Tuesday with the grand opening of Touché French Creole. The eatery, which promises “soulful New Orleans-inspired cuisine,” is in the historic Hobbs Building at 6 N. River St. It’s the fourth new restaurant to open downtown in the past year.
